Each month the Tip Jar here at the Bean goes to supporting a local or global non-for profit organization. We can not express to you what an extreme privilege it has been this past year and a half of business to deliver checks over to these organizations that work so hard, despite the constant struggle of funding, for the greater good of people. Over this past year you all have donated kindly more than $16,500!
Do you know how completely incredible you all are! We are so proud of the community in Greenwood. So proud that daily, you all choose to look outside of yourselves and live a life of greater purpose and passion for others- and that is just by your tips alone!!!!
PAST PROGRAMS
we've been able to support:
- Harvest Fest: a carnival that has taken place the past three years during Greenwood trick or treating
- A Green Bean Backpacking trip for customers
- Benefit shows that have raised more than $10,000
- Storytime for kids
- Live Art shows during art walk
- Live and Learn classes on Tuesday evenings
- Open Mic night
- Live music
Those are examples of programs and ways that the Green Bean has the privilege of coming alongside our community and organizations through use of our space and income that we generate through the business and our tip jar.
